Couxcoux Repair Serums can act as a protective, nutritious, hydrating layer:
Alone, for those requiring intense nutrition & repair but less intense, long lasting hydration. This is especially useful for oily or combination skin in hot & humid environments.
As an initial application before adding applying a Couxcoux Salve or Serum for intense, regenerative, protection & repair. This is especially useful for aging & damaged skin in cold & dry environments …. including ALL air conditioned spaces.
Even if you live in the tropics …. but spend most of your day in air conditioning …. your environment would be considered cold & dry.
Roll tiny amounts near troublesome areas.
Massage & pat in gently with finger tips spreading oils out to s semi-gloss finish.
Wait 2 to 5 minutes.
Apply Couxcoux Serum or Salve as needed.
In a PINCH …. these little Roll-Ons can do GREAT Things!!

Make Up Remover & Oil Cleanse:
Apply large dabs liberally to wet or damp skin. Massage in well to dislodge makeup, dirt and grime. Rinse skin if desired. Massage well again. Wipe dirt and makeup away with a dark cloth or disposable cotton pad. Apply tiny dabs to further hydrate skin if needed.
Body Hydration & Cleansing:

OR apply larger dabs to wet skin. Massage in well for 90 seconds spreading oils out to largest area of skin possible. Pat or wipe dry if needed
IF IT CONTAINS WATER …. IT WILL CONTAIN CHEMICALS!
Currently, there is no effective natural preservative to keep water from spoiling or molding. Mostly, this is a problem after the product is unsealed for use by the consumer. So, if it has water …. it will have to have chemicals.
Unfortunately, WATER is the most common and cheapest “filler” for any packaged product you may consider buying.
Additionally, several other chemicals will be required in a water based product:
-to keep unlike ingredients (oil & water) from separating .
-to keep products stable until the advertised expiry date (often years).
-to prevent changes in viscosity and texture at wide temperature ranges (cold or hot temperatures during shipping, storage, display AND use). This means: if it comes out of a squeeze tube or pump …. it has chemicals!
The only exception to this rule is self preserving vinegars.
FRAGRANCE AND PARFUM ARE NEVER NATURAL OR SAFE!
Fragrance and parfum are a mixture of possibly hundreds of chemical compounds.
Due to current labeling laws these chemical ingredients are considered TRADE SECRETS and do NOT have to be disclosed on the label as ingredients. More and more people are experiencing severe, sometimes anaphylatic, reactions to fragrance but are unable to avoid the particular chemical they are having trouble with because they can’t find out what it is.
Additionally, fragrance is often started, mixed or carried by very strong, synthetic solvents.
Many of these chemicals are considered as dangerous as smoking and second hand smoke.
These chemicals are difficult to avoid because “FRAGRANCE or PARFUM” is added to food, skin care, personal care, body care, hair care, laundry products, baby products, cleaning products …. and many more ….
including products labeled NATURAL!
IT’S NOT NATURAL!
ALL added color is synthetically produced in our modern world.
Natural mineral and metal colorant often co occurs in nature with some dangerous compounds like: arsenic and asbestos. So, to avoid this danger, color additives are manufactured. This means that even natural looking, pale colors will likely have chemicals.
Vibrant, Pale and Dark natural colors can be produced in WATER and/or alcohol …. but, where there’s water …. there’s chemicals. And, putting dehydrating alcohol on skin regularly, especially in a leave on moisturizer, is obviously, bad news.
Natural oils will not absorb color but, chemical color additives can be suspended in oil making it appear colored.
BRIGHT WHITE & CLEAR TRANSPARENT “COLOR” does NOT exist in nature!
Even white appearing flowers have specks of light grey, yellow, pink etc. So, if it’s a bright white, clear or transparent (like glycerin and silicone), it’s been extracted, refined or processed with something like bleach.
Natural Oils can be water thin to creamy to firm solid depending on their temperature and base physical properties. For example: coconut oil can be a pale, yellow liquid when warm and a creamy, white solid when cold.
So, again ….
If it comes in a squeeze tube or pump bottle …. the natural oil has likely been chemically refined to make it thicker, make it thinner, and/or make it always a viscous liquid regardless of temperature.
Chemical refining and extracting changes the base healing properties of the natural oil (not usually for the better) AND can leave chemical residue in the product.
PLEASE IGNORE THE FRONT ADVERTISING LABEL!!
Even if a product is advertised as Natural or Organic, please take a look at the very tiny writing on the back label that lists the ingredients.
Under current law, even organic products are allowed a certain percentage of chemicals! Some of these chemicals can be dangerous and others are, just simply, not good for skin.
IF AN INGREDIENT IS NATURAL:
It will be listed in it’s common name (coconut oil)
not chemical name (capyrlic/capric triglyceride)
Or Plant Genus & Species (cocos nucifera).
Most companies like to advertise that they advocate natural ingredients by listing both names: coconut oil (cocos nucifera).
